Adult Counselling in Auckland
At Reset and Restore, we offer counselling for adults navigating stress, burnout, anxiety, and life transitions.
These may include career and leadership pressures, returning to work, relationship strain, or times when identity, confidence, or direction feel uncertain.
Counselling provides a confidential, steady space to reflect, gain clarity, and begin to make meaningful, sustainable change.
How I work
My approach is integrated, drawing on narrative therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Together, we explore the patterns and stories shaping your experience — gently loosening unhelpful cycles while strengthening perspectives that support growth.
I work from a strengths-based lens, helping you reconnect with your values and build on the capabilities you already have.
A Whole-person approach
Emotional well-being does not exist in isolation.
Together we will consider the wider context of your life, including:
stress load and daily demands
lifestyle patterns
sleep and movement
the cumulative impact of ongoing pressure
The focus is on identifying realistic, sustainable adjustments that support resilience and confidence over time. We reset some parts of your lifestyle and restore them for sustainable futures.
Support with stress and burnout
Many clients come to counselling feeling stretched — often holding significant responsibility at work and home, with little space to pause. Burmot occurs when we do not have the tools or resources to do our job - as a parent, at work, at home. Over time, this can lead to patterns of exhaustion, disconnection, and reduced clarity.
Counselling can help to:
create space to think more clearly
understand what is driving the pressure
Rebuild capacity in a way that is sustainable
